Last week, one of my favorite interviewers, John Batchelor, interviewed me for his show, “Eye on the World,” on CBS Radio. The topic: my article on the Southwest “meltdown.” Why is he one of my favorites? Because he actually carefully reads what I write and thinks about it before interviewing me. And his goal is clearly to get the information out to his audience in a way that’s understandable. He also is a very personable, nice guy with a fun sense of humor.
And here’s the link to the interview. It lasts just under 10 minutes. And here’s my article on the Southwest meltdown.

Batchelor has one of the most underrated shows around, and it’s been that way for awhile.
You know he’s a novelist, too? This one is my favorite.
It’s always great to listen to two nice guys discussing a serious topic.

All of John Batchelor’s show content is available as podcasts of about 10 minutes each. I’ve been listening to him regularly for the past 8 years. He creates so much good content that I only have time to listen to about 5% of it. Opening my podcast app right not to make sure I listen to your segment, Dr. Henderson.
If I may, I’d like to put a plug for John’s segments with Prof. Michael Vlahos of Johns Hopkins. The segments focus on Classical World precedents for recent events. Right now most of those segments focus on Ukraine.
